Across the Sand

This series looks at people and animals moving through the desert. The images were photographed in the Thar Desert in India, where distance and spacing shape each scene, with figures often spread out across the landscape.

At times they align, at times they feel completely separate. The images move between moments of movement and stillness, where the environment becomes as important as the people within it.
